God’s Most Precious Own

God’s Most Precious Own

Dear Michaela Rose,
I heard you this morning,
beautiful girl
Laughing on the garden breeze,
and dancing through my mountain’s trees
You lay beside me a fairy doll,
then blew some magic and she grew tall,
She sings and plays,
her heart’s content
She plays for you,
while you were sent
To teach all angels,
to know of love
To teach us humans,
we must look above
Where we will find, that laughing girl
Dancing on a garden breeze,
And playing in God’s summer trees.
And we will see, upon a Rose,
The name Michaela,
God’s most precious own…
