Hello Everyone,

I have some exciting news! A new program has been launched in the State of Connecticut called SAVIN. It is an automated victim information and notification service that provides crime victims and other interested parties with automatic notice of relevant offender information and status reports as a case proceeds through the criminal justice system. Connecticut SAVIN is operated by the VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) service and information/assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Crime victims and interested individuals may register to receive notifications by telephone or by e-mail. To register for this free program you can either visit the website at https://www.vinelink.com/vinelink/siteInfoAction.do?siteId=7000 or by phone at 1-877-VINE-4CT (1-877-846-3428). Both services will walk you through how to register and luckily it is very user friendly.
