BRISTOL - The inaugural Ride For Justice to benefit the Petit Family Foundation drew more than 1,200 motorcylists this afternoon on a ride from Bristol to Cheshire.

Dr. William Petit and his family were happy for large showing of support after having to relive a horrific home invasion in New Haven Superior Court all week.

Petit's wife and two daughter's were killed during the home invasion in 2007. Sunday was also Jennifer Hawke-Petit's birthday.

The riders will follow a route that leads to Cheshire, where there will be food, entertainment and raffles throughout the afternoon.
