Students Versus Staff Charity Basketball

On March 25th, The Middle School of Plainville held its 4th annual "Students Versus Staff Charity Basketball Event." This year the Middle School of Plainville's selected charity was the Petit Family Foundation. During the first three years of this event, students and staff contributed a total of $2,400 to charities. However, this year, students and staff collected $2,678 in only a two week period.

The basketball game ended in a double overtime tie 59-59. However, upon further review, a basket was erroneously credited to the teachers in the first half of the game, which would then have resulted in the students winning the game by 2 points.
