Scholarship Information

The PETIT FAMILY FOUNDATION currently funds three named (JENNIFER, HAYLEY and MICHAELA PETIT) academic awards via the Plainville Rotary Club's annual program for members of the National Honor Society. These awards also serve as a tribute to William A. Petit, Sr., Past-President, 2 time Paul Harris award honoree and long-time Rotarian. The entire selection process is handled by the Plainville Rotary's Awards Committee. In addition, there are competitive "BE THE CHANGE" Community Service awards given at Cheshire and Plainville High Schools to students who represent the idealism, activism and kindness demonstrated by JENNIFER, HAYLEY, and MICHAELA PETIT.

With the exceptions of these 3 named awards that are given through the Plainville Rotary Club in conjunction with their long-standing NHS program and the two named high school's community service awards, the Petit Family Foundation only funds educational programs/projects and not individuals.
