Hello Everyone,

For those of you who do not know The Connecticut Cold Case Squad has been disbanded due to budget cuts. This Wednesday, February 22nd, at 12:30 p.m. there will be a press conference at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford about restoring this program. State’s Attorney Kevin Kane will be speaking and State Victim Advocate Michelle Cruz, Merit LaJoie, and the Barrett Family will also be attending.

We are looking for supporters on this day as well as families whose cases are considered “cold.” If anyone is able to attend please contact Dawn Luddy at dluddy@snet.net. The Cold Case Squad was run by volunteers and had succeeded in solving numerous cold cases. The loss of this program is very detrimental to families whose cases are viewed as being unsolvable. These men and woman were their voices. Please consider supporting this cause.

Sincerely,

Jessica
