The distinctive heart-shaped Petit Family Foundation logo was designed to preserve the memory of Jennifer, Hayley and Michaela. Its rendering depicts three doves of different colors embracing one another, symbolizing their closeness and love. The blue dove represents Jennifer’s gentleness of spirit and courage as big as the sky—her wing wrapped protectively around her two smaller doves. The green dove represents Hayley with her character, strength and determination forever fresh, evergreen in our minds. The rose dove represents Michaela, smallest of the three, reminding us that her precious life was a beautiful budding flower. Anyone who wears this logo does so to honor their memory and carry on the idealism, activism, and kindness that defined their lives.
