I am a 70 yr. old retired NYC Fireman. I have just completed my cook book/bio/fund raising book…I have dedicated a portion of the profits to my favorite charities. I will donate $5.00 for each book sold to the Petit Family Foundation…My heart felt sympathies to Dr. Petit, I always remind people about the terrible loss of his precious family.

April 30, 2011 Global Giving Open Challenge! Through this challenge, if The Petit Family Foundation raises at least $4000 from 50 or more donors by 11:59 p.m. EST on Saturday April 30, 2011, the Education & Mentoring Of Women In The Sciences giving project will earn a permanent spot on GlobalGiving. Also through this challenge, there will be bonus grants for top performing organizations totaling $12,500! This includes a donation matching day, which will be announced a week beforehand. This challenge is a great opportunity to extend your donation dollars!

March 19, 2011 Gear up now for The Potomac Star’s Fundraiser Trifecta! The Potomac Boat Club is holding a gear sale (in the form of T-shirts) to benefit three deserving groups, including The Petit Family Foundation. Orders will be taken through March 19.
