imageMichaela’s Garden Project—available for $10, read more here.

imageLuminaries with the PETIT FAMILY FOUNDATION logo on them are available for $20 plus shipping. They are also available locally at the Concierge Section of the Hospital of Central CT, the gift shop at Bradley Memorial Hospital, and the retail locations listed below.

The luminaries are based on a design made by HAYLEY during her Junior year at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, in an advanced pottery workshop run by her teacher and mentor—a well-known local artist—Mrs. Susan Reeder-Moss. HAYLEY created several beautiful porcelain luminaries in her junior year at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT. Porcelain is translucent when thin and she was drawn to the challenge of creating a form that would glow warmly when lit to reveal a design hidden inside. Inspired by her work, The PETIT FAMILY FOUNDATION has partnered with Yankee Candle to create luminaries in her remembrance. While HAYLEY’s designs varied on each luminary she made, we chose to use our logo, which was very generously designed by Cronin and Co., on this replica of her beautiful work. We offer this luminary to you to honor our beautiful, talented, and strong friend; a young woman who glowed with her own promise. We hope you will find the same solace in this gift as we have found in the act of making it.
